Swift Borough is the new kid on the block.
The latest addition to our flock opened in Autumn 2022 on Borough High Street, a mere stone’s throw from London Bridge station and the iconic Borough Market. Already a favourite on the local scene, it’s the perfect spot for an exquisite drink for all of you who live south of the river, or who have to catch the train back to Commuterville.
Inspired by our proximity to Borough Market, we try and use seasonal ingredients where we can. It can lead to some fun additions to our menu.

The Best Cocktail Bars in London
This Borough outpost south of the River from Swift, is the perfect post-Borough-Market amble stop off. Like its Soho parent, Borough is split into an upstairs aperitivo bar and downstairs drinking den. Fans of the original will also be glad to hear the trademark Sgroppinos and Irish Coffees are on the menu, but we think this outpost has something special – namely that it uses produce from Borough Market for its seasonal drinks. -

THE NUDGE
A two-storey cocktail temple within olive stone-spitting distance of London Bridge station, meaning that however long you find yourself ensconced in its low-lit, seductive cocoon, you’ll always make the last train home. In an area flush with pubs and wine bars but relatively few cocktail bars, Swift Borough is a serious coup for London Bridge. After all, a swift pint is good… but a Swift cocktail’s surely better.

Hottest Global Bar Openings
Swift Borough reflects its unique neighbourhood, and shines a spotlight on seasonal produce provided by its market neighbours. Like the Soho original, this is a bar of two halves, split across two floors. Downstairs offers a more intimate, seated-only area with an original, high-concept menu, while upstairs is an easy-breezy drinking spot for lighter, brighter after-work drinks.
Upstairs at Borough
Mooching around the market? Strolling past Southwark Cathedral? Lingering in line for your favourite restaurant? Well swing on by! At Swift Borough, the majority of our large upstairs bar is available for walk-ins, so we’re sure to find you a spot.
A slightly larger gathering? We have a lovely semi-private space at the back of the Upstairs bar, perfect for a post-work get-together.
Downstairs - The Back Pocket
What’s with the Back Pocket anyway?
The Back Pocket is Swift Borough’s little secret. A little bar we have hidden away downstairs, where its size makes it a super exclusive drinking destination.
Like all great secrets, we can’t divulge too much. Suffice to say, if you’re looking for an exclusive, bespoke space to host an intimate party with your own bartender and a tailor-made cocktail menu, then you’ve found it.

Whilst we keep some tables back for walk-ins, if you are planning to come, we always recommend booking in advance to guarantee your spot.
We have two spaces to choose from: our large Ground Floor Bar, or downstairs you’ll find our cosy downstairs bar, The Back Pocket.
Please note that Swift operates a 21 and over policy at all our venues.
We are unable to accommodate any sports strips or clothing. Please leave your Arsenal replica kit at home.
Sorry, but we are unable to accommodate any stag or hen parties.
Dogs are welcome at Swift Borough.
